Thank you to all those who have visited us at Tythebarn House over the past 11 years, hard to believe I know. We’ve met such lovely people and made many wonderful friends along the way.
The time has come to move on to pastures-new and we will be retiring from B&B in March next year.

Here at Tythebarn House we’ve seen a new trend in how guests prefer to breakfast.
Last year we saw a big move towards a light ‘Breakfast on a Tray’ and away from the more traditional ‘Full English’. As a result we’re going with the trend and the booking system now features our guests’ favourite ways to start the day, ‘Catering for yourself’ in your own little kitchen and the added extra of ordering ‘Breakfast on a Tray’.
‘Breakfast on a Tray’ will be brought to your room, or served on a bright sunny morning in our courtyard Garden Pod.

When we were children we loved ‘a proper day out’, a special time, doing fun things as a family. A day at Cartmel Races over the recent bank holiday was that kind of day. Vic and I were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and taking a long weekend out from B&B duties.
