No 17: A short drive to Milnthorpe village. It’s a favourites of ours for a lunch treat on Market day. Great food at good prices . Visit the weekly Friday Market.
Kirkby Lonsadale: Bakery and Cafe. Real fires, brilliant food and friendly service. We love their soup. Leave time to wander around this picturesque Market Town.
Wolfhouse Kitchen, Silverdale: Their cakes, pastries and coffee are the BEST.
The Derby Arms Witherslack. Real fires, dogs under the tables, cyclist and horse-rider stop-off, and great pub food. There’s a Community Shop next door, where you can stock up on the local Damsons.

Lancaster. Well worth a lunch time stop while site-seeing in the city, or there’s Live music
