Enjoying a summer afternoon stroll along the Lancaster Canal recently and I noticed there’d been a real change since last time I took this route to the allotment. I’d been busy cycling there and back with a basket on my bike, transporting home the adundance of fruit as it ripened each day. Some days it was easier than walking, but I realized how much I’ve missed watching the small changes in the season.
Seed heads are forming
and, back at Tythebarn House, the bees are buzzing amongst the abundance of lavender flowers in our courtyard garden.
